A repository for a wooden Amitabha Buddha statue (designated an important cultural property) dating back to 12th century, standing in the precincts of Anyo-ji Temple in Toyoura-cho, Yamaguchi Prefecture.External walls are made of adobe 35 cm cube, in a reproduction of the local traditional adobe method.
