“Take-wa, Bamboo Ring” is the pavilion built for London Design Festival. Using the new composite material made by bamboo and carbon fiber, we designed a donut shaped structure with its one end lifted up in the air. The whole structure consists of 120 of 1.8m diameter rings made of the composite material woven by zip-ties.
