In the city where waves reach the land, a new landmark tower rises on the former Busan City Hall site. Inspired by the waves drawn by ships crossing the adjacent Busan Port, the design translates the rhythm of the sea onto the building’s façade. Curved transparent glass volumes are vertically stacked following the flow of internal functions, while horizontal bands reminiscent of waves wrap the entire façade, blurring the boundary between spandrel and vision glass.
