This is a design plan for an object to be erected on the west approach to the Suzhou Museum. We designed an art object resembling Shi-Shan as the entrance gate to the museum, which stands against the backdrop of Shi-Shan, a mountain that has long been a symbol of this area.Numerous perforated cast aluminum panels, reminiscent of Suzhou's Taihu Stone, were fitted with horizontal and vertical rotation to create a 5.6m high x 9m wide x 18m deep walk-through space.The technique of using
