We designed an urban complex of residential, office, and commercial buildings made of "wooden boxes" and "holes" in Daikanyama. The wooden boxes are clad with wooden louvers and are randomly stacked to harmonize with the human-scale streetscape. By opening "holes" between these wooden boxes, a path was created for light and wind to pass through, which visually and sensorially unifies the station and the neighborhood as one.
