The release of new facility standards from Major League Baseball gave the Hillsboro Hops a chance to envision a new kind of home. Located in the Portland Metro area, the High-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks set out to create a dynamic, community-focused venue for baseball, regional events, concerts and celebrations. With 4,700 fixed seats and capacity for approximately 7,000 fans, the ballpark is scaled to feel intimate and energized, providing the city with a civic gathering space.
