This installation was commissioned by the Nobel Peace Center to commemorate the awarding of the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize to "Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations", which is comprised of survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.The 1,000 KIGUMI were meticulously handcrafted by Japanese artisans, each piece made with care and precision.
