UNS' design for the Linnanniemi Waterfront Masterplan in Turku, Finland, envisions a transformative maritime district where urbanity and nature coexist. Positioned as a new cultural and ecological hub, the masterplan integrates three distinct areas – Port City, Museum Gardens, and Maritime Quarter – united by a multifunctional shoreline that enhances biodiversity and offers year-round activities.
