We designed a commemorative bench to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nishinomiya City, presented as a gift from Yusuhara Town in Kochi Prefecture, a sister city of Nishinomiya.The bench uses 105 mm square cedar timbers from Yusuhara Town, injected with phenolic resin to improve durability, as its legs. The seat and backrest are made from 120 mm square timbers cut diagonally into triangular sections, pursuing an ultimate simplicity and ease of assembly through a minimal structural composit
