A pen is an “extension of the body” that externalizes thought. Which pen one uses determines the quality of one’s thinking; the pen is a medium that connects body and mind.The material of this pen, Hinoki, is a special wood for the Japanese people. With its distinctive fragrance and skin-like texture, it has been used since ancient times in the construction of shrines. Through the contact between this hinoki and the fingertips, thought and body are united as one.
