The responsible use of resources can lead to cost and energy savings, especially if introduced early on in a project. Using continuous process improvement and integrated delivery that shaved three months and $30 million off the building, we created a relaxed, nature-inspired design for Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center while achieving notable energy savings and enhancing the quality of care.
