VILLA Fuji Kawaguchiko AERO

I designed a villa on the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko for my longtime friend, Kazuhiro Fujihara. Across the water rises Mount Fuji. I defined the axis directed toward this greatest of Japanese monuments as the Mount Fuji Axis, an invisible force that transforms both the architecture and the interior space.
