Alsion is formed by an unusual combination of functions: a centre for research and culture in southern Denmark and a hub for industry representatives, students, researchers and businesses to meet and exchange knowledge. Alsion consists of University of Southern Denmark, a private research and science park; Forskerpark Syd, a concert hall and even a DSB ticket office. The facility has a dedicated focus upon knowledge sharing, talent attraction and last but not least, contributing to the public life and urban character of the surrounding community.
