The expansion of the existing courthouse takes its signal from the unique neighbourhood of Frederiksberg but still makes its significant mark within the context of the place. While the exterior form emphasizes adjacencies, the interior focuses on compliance with the law’s requirements for security and internal segregations. The design of Frederiksberg Courthouse provides its employees, the defendants, witnesses, and guests an open environment with an optimally separated flow between the different user groups.
