Faithful to the restaurant’s philosophy, the NOMA Lab is an inspiring ‘experimentarium’ where chefs at the world-renowned restaurant can hone their skills and contribute to the development of Modern Nordic cuisine. The design consists of four central multi-functional storage units; each composed from over five hundred uniquely formed wooden cubes. Playfully curving throughout the space, these units divide the room into smaller areas accommodating the food lab, the herb garden, staff areas and office.
