Stockholm University of the Arts
Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) will, for the first time, unite the film, media and performing arts programmes under one roof in a functional and welcoming university building that connects students with the surrounding community and the city of Stockholm. At the core of a film, media and performing arts university lies the responsibility to facilitate learning through both production and performance. Formed from this notion, the new building for SKH will offer students a private and creative environment, while providing them spaces to meet and showcase their talents to each other and to the outside world. Like a professional theatre building, SKH will consist of a ‘back of house’, which are areas only for the students and staff, and a ‘front of house’, that invites the public in.
